The president cannot give the lead to a radical transformation of society without a primitive and animal bonding with the voters. He must also be tuned in to the beat of the times. Obama lacks either of these qualities. Consequently the initial Obama plans of leading the third Democratic wave after Roosevelt and Lyndon Johnson is stillborn.
