Upper body workout routine
If you want to get lean arms and a toned stomach, check this article out. It’s an upper body workout that I have been using that has helped me eliminate 18 lbs of fat. Plus its extremely quick at the same time.
The way this upper body work out works is that it concentrates on working two groups of muscles simultaneously, in what is known as super set. Put simply, you work one group of muscles while the other is resting. This also creates a type of training similar to cardiovascular training. In fact, when you are undergoing this workout, you will be sweating just like you are doing cardiovascular exercise.
What this means is that you are burning a greater quantity of calories. Consequently, you’ll burn much more fat faster with this type of workout.
How a super set works is that you work two groups of muscles in succession with minimal rest between the sets. For instance, the way I have done this for chest and back was to work a chest exercises, followed by a back exercise for 6 sets. Therefore I might work the bench press with sitting rows, alternating between a set of bench press and a set of seated rows, for 6 full sets without resting.
Second, I’d go to my arms. I might work some bicep curls with a set of tricep extensions, alternating between one set of bicep curls followed by one set of tricep muscles extensions, for six total sets. When I was finished with this, my arms felt twice as big. I knew I’d really worked them hard.
Finally, I would move on to back and shoulders. I might work a set of shoulder press then a set of lower back extensions on the machine, switching from shoulder press to lower back extensions for six full sets.
As you can see, this type of training works very quickly. You’re moving quickly between sets without wasting time, which only gives your muscles just enough time to rest before you start working them again. This entire upper body work out only takes about 20 minutes. And also this imitates cardiovascular training in that this burns more calories than a traditional weight workout.
Give it a shot and see what you think. Once I learned this type of upper body training plan, I have stuck with it since then. And the results have been exceptional. I simply won’t go back to doing anything else.
