To register to vote in the State of Florida, you need to complete a Voter Registration Application:
- Complete the Voter Registration Application. Fill out all fields.
- Print the application out.
- Confirm all information on your application is provided. Where you register, your SSN, Drivers license number and ID card number remain confidential and are used only for registration purposes.
- Sign the application. Your original signature is required because you are swearing or affirming to an oath.
- Mail your application to your county Supervisor of Elections. You can opt to mail or deliver by hand the application to any Supervisor of Elections office in the state, the DMV, a registration agency, an armed forces office, or the Division of Elections office.
- When your application is complete and you have qualified as a voter, the Division of Elections office will mail you an information card as official notification that you are now registered. Be certain all information on your ID card is correct. If after 8 weeks you still have not received your card, contact the Supervisor of Elections.
