Who Can Vote in Florida?

 To register to vote in the State of Florida, individuals:

  • Must be a US citizen;
  • Must be a resident of the State of Florida;
  • Must be at least 18 years old (pre-registration to vote is allowed if you are 16 years old)
  • Must NOT be considered mentally incapacitated;
  • Must NOT have been convicted of a felony without your civil rights having been restored; and
  • Must provide a valid current Florida driver’s license or ID card.
  • Must provide the last four digits of your SSN if you don’t have a Florida drivers license or ID card. In lieu of these items you must check the box indicated on the registration form as “NONE.”
